The Town of Babylon day camp, located in North Babylon, is a five week program intended to be a fun and organized way for children to spend summer days. Activities include arts and crafts, pool time, sports, and special events.

Eligibility: Town of Babylon residents age 5, as of July 8, 2024, and have completed kindergarten through age 12.
**There are no Pre-K students or 7th graders in camp.

Phelps Lane Day Camp - HALF DAY - AM or PM
Monday through Friday, July 8 - August 9
9am - 12 pm or 1 pm - 4pm

Fee: $160.00 per child

Location: Phelps Lane Park, North Babylon

Children will be grouped according to the grade level attended during the 2023/2024 school year:
Age Groups:
Kindergarten: 5 or 6 years old
First & Second Grade: 6-8 years old
Third & Fourth Grade: 8-10 years old
Fifth & Sixth Grade: 10-12 years old

Group assignments will be mailed to you prior to start of camp. Request for children to be placed in the same group will no longer be accepted.

Please Note: Each camper needs to have all medical and emergency contact forms filled out prior to the start of camp. There are No Exceptions! Forms can be downloaded from the Town of Babylon website, https://townofbabylon.com/243/Forms-Documents, or picked up at the Parks and Recreation Office located at 151 Phelps Lane in North Babylon. Campers will not be able to attend camp if forms are not completed and returned on the first day of camp.

Behavioral problems will not be tolerated. Rules must be adhered to by all participants. Failure to respect the rules will result in the removal of participants from the Town of Babylon Day Camp Program. Parents are required to drop/pick up their children at the designated area. Only those persons given approval by the parent/guardian will be allowed to sign for their children.

**There are NO INDOOR FACILITIES; camp is closed when it rains.

* Drop-off and pick-up for the Phelps Lane Day Camp will be at the Spangle Drive Senior Center.

Registration for Day Camp is processed online only. Please register your child according to the grade level he/she completed in the 2023/2024 school year. Registration will be accepted for only one session per child. You may not register for a session that will conflict with any other lesson, such as swimming or music instruction.

Eligibility: Town of Babylon residents age 5, as of July 8, 2024, and have completed kindergarten through age 12.

9 am- 3 pm

This is a full day camp. All participants must bring a bag lunch (every item must be disposable), snack, water bottle, bathing suit, sunscreen and towel. No glass bottles are permitted.

Fees: $320.00 per child

Location: Fabio Buttitta Park, Deer Park
