This simple and fun golf instruction program will include 10 hours of golf instruction over a two and a half week period. The program will cover the rules of golf, equipment and the basics of putting, chipping, pitching and driving the golf ball. Drills and games will be used to make the classes more interesting and more effective. The course will culminate with a tournament for all participants, September 7th. Participants should bring their own golf glove. All other equipment and materials will be provided. If you have your own clubs, please bring them. Class size is limited to 20 students.

Lessons will include: bunker shots, special shots (punch, drop, draw, and fade), use of mid and long irons and use of the driver. Come on out and have some fun learning the wonderful game of golf. This golf introduction program will provide 10 hours of golf instruction over a five day period for children ages 8-12. The program will cover the rules of golf, the equipment, and the basic fundamentals of the game which include the grip, stance, putting, chipping, pitching and the full swing. Each part of the game will be taught in a way that will make it engaging, and fun. The classes will be held at Cedar Beach Golf course which is a perfect place for beginners to learn the game of golf. Participants will need to bring their own golf glove. If you have your own clubs, please bring them. All other equipment will be provided.
